Kyle Hepner, Attorney
Kyle Hepner has been with Berenato & White since March, 2009. Before joining the firm, Kyle was an associate at a boutique intellectual property firm in Washington, D.C. where he specialized in prosecuting PCT applications in the U.S. and a number of foreign countries. His practice is focused on the preparation and prosecution of U.S. and international patent applications as well as opinion writing.
Background
Kyle Hepner was born in Vineland, NJ and received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The George Washington University in 2005, where his senior research focused on nanotechnology and computer-integrated manufacturing. He received his Juris Doctorate from The George Washington University Law School in 2008. While earning his undergraduate and law degrees, Mr. Hepner worked at an intellectual property law firm in Alexandria, VA performing patentability, validity, and infringement research as well as opinion writing. Mr. Hepner is a member of the Virginia bar and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He is also a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association, the Virginia Bar Association, and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
