David Taylor has been with Berenato & White since May of 2003 after leaving his position at the Sullivan Law Group based out of Phoenix, Arizona. He was an associate from 1993 through 2000 at Cushman, Darby & Cushman, which was acquired during that period by Pillsbury Madison & Sutro. He has more than 15 years experience in all aspects of intellectual property, specializing in patent preparation and prosecution, patent infringement and validity analysis, and opinion writing. He has prepared and prosecuted patent applications covering a broad range of chemical and mechanical technologies, including organic and inorganic chemistry, polymer science, and various chemical processes.

Background

David S. Taylor was born in Baltimore, MD, on March 20, 1968, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland in 1990. Mr. Taylor received his Juris Doctorate from The National Law Center of George Washington University in 1993. Mr. Taylor is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and is a member of the bars of Maryland and the District of Columbia. He is also a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, and the District of Columbia Bar Association.
